Verification & account

Third-party payments are not allowed

You must pay for your account with a method in your own name. Using someone else's card or wallet, buying an account for someone else, or receiving a payout for someone else is prohibited, even with permission and even as a gift.

What you must not do

  • Use another person's card, bank account, e-wallet, crypto wallet or payment details.
  • Let another person use your payment method to buy an account.
  • Buy an account on behalf of another person.
  • Buy an account as a gift.
  • Ask a family member, friend, colleague or community member to pay for your account.
  • Receive a payout on behalf of another customer.
  • Ask for profit to be paid to a third party.

The cardholder's permission makes no difference. A payment from a spouse, partner, parent, child, relative, friend, employer, employee, company or community member is a third-party payment if the method is not registered in your name.

Accounts cannot be gifts

You can recommend Traderscale with a referral link. The person you refer must create their own profile and pay with a method in their own name. Gift intent does not exempt a payment from this policy.

If you are placed under review

Traderscale may ask for card ownership confirmation, a bank or payment statement, proof of the cardholder's name, evidence of the source of funds, an explanation of the relationship between connected account holders, or further identity verification.

Provide complete, accurate, unedited documents within the time given. You may hide unrelated sensitive information as long as your name, the account details, the transaction date, the amount and the merchant stay visible.

Outcomes

If the evidence is satisfactory, accounts may be reactivated and valid payouts processed.

If a third-party payment is confirmed, Traderscale may reject or cancel the payout, forfeit profit, deactivate or terminate the connected accounts, restrict further purchases or refund the original payment.

Treated as serious violations: knowingly buying an account for someone else, letting another trader use your payment method, repeated use of one method across different profiles, falsified payment evidence and hiding who funded an account.
