Trading rules
Instant Funding consistency rule
On Instant Funding, your highest profit day must be below 20% of your total profit for the payout period. Exactly 20% does not pass. Failing the rule delays your payout; it does not breach your account.
Check your consistency
Use one payout period, the highest UTC profit day and posted adjustments.
The first qualifying total to the cent is $5,000.01. This assumes your highest day stays at $1,000.00.
Use the posted profit figures for the same payout period, including adjustments, commissions and swaps; exclude open P&L and payout debits. Adjustments belong to their posting date in UTC. This checks consistency only, not full payout eligibility.
What goes into the calculation
Take your highest profit day and your total profit for the same payout period. Open trading profit does not count until the trade closes. Use the posted, adjusted realised results in your Trader Area. Manual credits, deductions, commissions and swaps are reflected in those results and in the highest-profit day. An adjustment belongs to the UTC date it is posted. Payout debits are excluded from trading results. The highest-profit day is measured using the UTC day, not the daily drawdown reset.
Divide the highest day by the total and multiply by 100.
| Highest profit day | Total profit this period | Result |
|---|---|---|
| $1,000 | $5,000 | Exactly 20%. Not met |
| $1,000 | $5,500 | 18.18%. Met |
With a $1,000 highest day, total profit needs to be more than $5,000. The rule uses the exact percentage, not a rounded figure shown on screen.
Why the percentage can go up
A losing day reduces your total profit, so the same highest day becomes a bigger share of it. A $1,000 highest day is 33.33% of $3,000 but 50% of $2,000.
A new, bigger profit day replaces the old highest day. So more trading does not guarantee a lower percentage.
After a payout is approved
A new payout period starts. The old highest day no longer counts.
New period profit = current balance minus Balance After Payout
Say your balance after the payout is $101,000 and it is now $104,000. Your period profit is $3,000. A new highest day of $1,100 gives 36.67%, which does not meet the Instant Funding rule. You would need total profit above $5,500 with that highest day.
Use the Balance After Payout figure in your Trader Area, not your original starting balance. A pending or rejected request does not start a new period. Use the posted, adjusted period figures rather than only a sum of closed trade profits. Assign adjustments to their posting UTC date and exclude payout debits from trading results.
Retained eligible profit can count toward the $250 payout minimum, but this consistency calculation still uses the current payout period. Meeting the monetary minimum does not by itself meet consistency.
