Trading rules
Tick scalping and minimum trade duration
Hold every position for at least two minutes using server timestamps. Short-trade profits are removed and losses count. When short-trade profits exceed the payout share, account-profit size determines whether profits are deducted from balance or the account is reset.
How the time is measured
Every position must be held for at least two minutes, measured from server entry and close timestamps rather than the rounded platform display.
A trade opened at 11:14:20 and closed at 11:15:07 lasted 47 seconds. Profit from that trade falls under this policy; a loss still counts.
Two minutes means 120 seconds.
A duration illustration, not permission to delay a protective exit.
Profits from shorter positions are removed; losses stand. A short trade alone is not automatically an account breach. Frequency, result, protective closures and the full policy still need review.
11:14:20 to 11:15:07 is 47 seconds. Do not disable a stop or delay a protective exit to satisfy a timer.
When short-trade profits exceed the payout share
The following applies to all account types. Compare the total profit from positions held under two minutes with both your payout share and the profit on the account.
| Short-trade profits | Result |
|---|---|
| Greater than the payout share, but no greater than account profit | Payout rejected; deduct the short-trade profits from account balance |
| Greater than account profit | Payout rejected; reset the account to its starting balance instead of deducting those profits |
Another payout can be requested after seven days in either case, subject to all other eligibility requirements. Check the next eligible request date for your account.
Examples
Assume a $100,000 starting balance, a current balance of $103,000, $3,000 account profit and a $2,400 payout share.
- $2,500 short-trade profit: this exceeds the share but not account profit. Deduct $2,500 from account balance, leaving $100,500.
- $3,500 short-trade profit: this exceeds account profit. Reset to the $100,000 starting balance instead of deducting $3,500.
Profit from trades shorter than two minutes is removed even where the above rejection branches do not apply. Your payout review shows the adjustment for your account.
Other trading rules still apply
One short trade does not automatically breach the account. Frequency, result and the complete trading pattern are reviewed separately. A high-frequency trading finding can apply even where individual positions last more than two minutes.
Never delay a protective exit or remove a stop loss just to reach two minutes.
