Understanding your Trader Area

Your Trader Area shows objectives and live loss limits. On funded accounts, automatic risk controls can also breach accounts for specified prohibited practices. Green metrics do not confirm compliance or approve a payout; all rules are checked at payout review.

Where to find your live limits

  1. Log in at hub.traderscale.com.
  2. Open Accounts Overview.
  3. Select the account.
  4. Select Go to Metrics.
  5. Check both the daily drawdown breach level and the maximum drawdown breach level.

Balance is not equity

How open trades affect equity

Open positions change equity before their profit or loss is realised.

Posted balance$100,000
+
Open P&L-$2,500Floating, not yet banked
=
Equity$97,500Drawdown checks use this

Example assumes no credits, withdrawals or additional fees. Your daily and maximum loss limits are checked separately.

Balance is the result of your closed trades and posted account transactions. Floating profit or loss does not change the balance until it is realised; posted transactions can change it.

Equity is your balance plus the floating profit or loss on open trades. This is what breach checks use. Equity can drop below a breach level while your closed balance still looks fine.

What each figure means

FigureMeaning
Daily drawdown breach levelThe daily floor is the higher of balance/equity at 21:00 UTC, minus the programme daily-loss percentage of starting balance
Maximum drawdown breach levelThe equity level that breaches your account outright. Never resets. Trails your highest equity upward on Speedy and Instant Funding; fixed on Flex and Pro
Consistency percentage (Speedy and Instant Funding)Your highest profit day as a share of your total profit this payout period. Displays a maximum of 100% even when the real figure is higher
Balance After PayoutAppears once a payout has been approved. It is the starting point for the next period's consistency calculation

Use the displayed levels, not your own arithmetic

Do not work out your limit by subtracting the headline percentage from your current balance. Trailing rules, reset cycles and your equity history all affect the real level. The displayed figure is the actual calculation.

Automated checks do not replace the payout review

On funded accounts, the system can automatically breach an account for prohibited adding in drawdown, exceeding the permitted risk allowance, martingale and hedging. The programme and cross-account exceptions still apply. These trading rules also apply during evaluations. Every applicable rule is checked at payout review, whether or not the system has already acted. An absence of alerts does not confirm compliance or payout approval. At payout, the Dealing Team, an independent third-party team that reviews trading, checks the full history. A completed target or an available payout date does not approve a payout. What happens during payout review?

Common questions

My consistency shows 100%. Am I breached? No. The display caps at 100%. If your highest day is $1,000 and your period profit has fallen to $600, the real figure is 166.67% but it shows 100%. Your account is active. It is not yet payout-eligible.

My own calculation does not match. Check you are using the same payout period, the correct highest UTC day, posted account adjustments, commissions and swaps and Balance After Payout for later periods. A newer day may have replaced the old highest day, or losses may have reduced the total.

Should I take a screenshot? A timestamped screenshot helps support see what you saw. Server-side records remain the primary evidence in any review.

Adjustments in the consistency period

Commissions, swaps and account adjustments affect realised results and are reflected on the UTC date of the adjustment. Payout debits are excluded from trading results. Use the figures posted to your account when checking the highest day and total period result.
