Troubleshooting

Why was my trade closed automatically?

A Pro position can close because its stop loss or take profit triggered, a stop was missing, the account breached a loss limit, or another applicable closure rule was triggered.

Missing stop loss at entry

Without the No Stop Loss on Entry add-on, a position opened without a stop is closed automatically and a soft breach is recorded. Check your order history and the account message. When must I add a stop loss?

Weekend closure

Without the Weekend Holding add-on, open positions close at 20:30 UTC before the weekend. Can I hold trades over the weekend?

Drawdown breach

If equity crosses a daily or maximum loss level, positions may be closed as part of the breach. Compare your equity and the displayed loss levels at the time. Why was my account breached?

Your own stop loss or take profit

Spreads and slippage can make a stop trigger or fill differently from what the chart shows, especially around news and rollover. Why did my stop loss trigger early?

Automatic risk monitoring

On funded accounts, the system can automatically breach an account for prohibited adding in drawdown, exceeding the permitted risk allowance, martingale and hedging. The programme and cross-account exceptions still apply. These trading rules also apply during evaluations. Every applicable rule is checked at payout review, whether or not the system has already acted. An absence of alerts does not confirm compliance or payout approval. Check the account notice to distinguish a flag from an actual breach.

What to send support

Your registered email address, account number, the symbol, the trade ticket, the close time, the account message and a screenshot. Compare the close time with the weekend closure and rollover, and check for a soft-breach record.

Stop-loss review

On every account type, persistent trading without a stop loss is penalised. For an isolated case, the affected P&L is deducted from the payout share. When must I add a stop loss?
