Understanding your Trader Area

Your Trader Area shows objectives and live loss limits. On funded accounts, automatic risk controls can also breach accounts for specified prohibited practices. Green metrics do not confirm compliance or approve a payout; all rules are checked at payout review.

Where to find your live limits

  1. Log in at hub.traderscale.com.
  2. Open Accounts Overview.
  3. Select the account.
  4. Select Go to Metrics.
  5. Check both the daily drawdown breach level and the maximum drawdown breach level.

Balance is not equity

How open trades affect equity

Open positions change equity before their profit or loss is realised.

Posted balance$100,000
+
Open P&L-$2,500Floating, not yet banked
=
Equity$97,500Drawdown checks use this

Example assumes no credits, withdrawals or additional fees. Your daily and maximum loss limits are checked separately.

Balance is the result of your closed trades and posted account transactions. Floating profit or loss does not change the balance until it is realised; posted transactions can change it.

Equity is your balance plus the floating profit or loss on open trades. This is what breach checks use. Equity can drop below a breach level while your closed balance still looks fine.

What each figure means

FigureMeaning on Pro
Daily loss levelHigher of balance/equity at 21:00 UTC, minus 5% of the original starting balance; checked on current equity
Maximum loss floorFixed at 90% of the original starting balance; profits do not move it
ConsistencyNot required on Pro
Balance After PayoutThe account balance after the payout; Pro does not use a consistency calculation

Use the live levels

The static maximum-floor example is not your live daily-loss level. Check both values in Metrics. An open loss can affect equity before the position closes.

Automated checks do not replace the payout review

On funded accounts, the system can automatically breach an account for prohibited adding in drawdown, exceeding the permitted risk allowance, martingale and hedging. The programme and cross-account exceptions still apply. These trading rules also apply during evaluations. Every applicable rule is checked at payout review, whether or not the system has already acted. An absence of alerts does not confirm compliance or payout approval. At payout, the Dealing Team, an independent third-party team that reviews trading, checks the full history. A completed target or an available payout date does not approve a payout. What happens during payout review?

When a figure does not match

Send support a timestamped screenshot, your Pro account number and the calculation you expected. Server-side records remain the primary evidence for review.
